As Lucy tells the story, the events took place in 1942, when she was filming Du Barry Was a Lady with Red Skelton at MGM, during the early days of American involvement in World War II, when residents along the Pacific coast of California lived in dread fear of an imminent attack by the Japanese (especially after a Japanese submarine appeared off the coast of Santa Barbara on February 23). 

Lucy had recently had several temporary lead fillings installed in her teeth, and when she drove home from MGM to the ranch she and Desi owned in the San Fernando Valley late one evening, this is what she reported:

"One night I came into the Valley over Coldwater Canyon, and I heard music. I reached down to turn the radio off, and it wasn't on. The music kept getting louder and louder, and then I realized it was coming from my mouth. I even recognized the tune. My mouth was humming and thumping with the drumbeat, and I thought I was losing my mind. I thought, What the hell is this? Then it started to subside. I got home and went to bed, not sure if I should tell anybody what had happened because they would think I was crazy."

When she supposedly recounted the story to actor Buster Keaton at the studio the next day, he laughingly told her that she was picking up radio broadcasts through her fillings, and that the same thing had happened to a friend of his. Nothing more happened for about a week, until the evening Lucy took a different route home from MGM:

"All of a sudden, my mouth started jumping. It wasn't music this time, it was Morse code. It started softly, and then de-de-de-de-de-de. As soon as it started fading, I stopped the car and then started backing up until it was coming in full strength. DE-DE-DE-DE-DE-DE DE-DE-DE-DE! I tell you, I got the hell out of there real quick. The next day I told the MGM Security Office about it, and they called the FBI or something, and sure enough, they found an underground Japanese radio station. It was somebody's gardener, but sure enough, they were spies."

Yellow Fruit

The Pentagon said today that it recently discovered that a secret Army unit disbanded in 1983 had set up a Swiss bank account that may later have been used illegally to finance arms for the Nicaraguan rebels.

A senior Pentagon official said an internal investigation had produced information suggesting that Lieut. Col. Oliver L. North, the dismissed National Security Council aide, and Maj. Gen. Richard V. Secord, who retired from the Air Force in April 1983, were among those who had access to the unauthorized Army account.

They are both under investigation on suspicion of providing military aid to the rebels, known as contras, when Congress had made it illegal for United States Government agencies to do so. Letting Them Use Account

The Pentagon official said evidence suggested that Colonel North and General Secord may have persuaded members of the Army unit to let them use the account for covert aid purposes after the unit had disbanded. He did not name those people.

It is not known if United States Government funds were deposited in the account and later used to aid the contras, or whether the account was used as a conduit for non-Government funds.

The Pentagon's chief spokesman, Robert Sims, said in a statement read to reporters this afternoon that the Defense Department was looking into the matter. He did not go into details in his statement, but the briefing continued on a background basis with an official who refused to be identified by name. $2.5 Million Withdrawn in Day CBS News reported Monday night that bank records showed that $2.5 million was withdrawn from the account in one day in 1985 and that $75,000 of that was used to charter a freighter that carried arms to the contras. The transaction took place when United States officials were prohibited from providing military aid to the rebels.

But the CBS report did not indicate whether the money withdrawn from the Swiss bank account came from United States funds or from other deposits.

The secret Army unit, nicknamed Yellow Fruit, was headed by Lieut. Col. Dale E. Duncan, who was convicted in 1986 of submitting fraudulent expense claims in connection with activities apparently unrelated to aid to the contras. He is serving a 10-year sentence at Fort Leavenworth, Kan.

The Pentagon official who spoke about the case said the Army, which investigated the finances of the secret unit for two years, could not account for all of the unit's money and does not know whether United States Government funds went into the account. He said the Army did not even know about the existence of the Swiss bank account until the CBS News report.

The Pentagon confirmed the existence of the account and has referred the matter to Lawrence E. Walsh, the independent counsel investigating the Iran-contra affair, the official said.

The official also said that top Pentagon officials, including Secretary of Defense Caspar W. Weinberger, had no knowledge of the Swiss account and that the Pentagon had no records concerning the account, which was at Credit Suisse in Geneva. A Puzzling Aspect

The activities and finances of the Yellow Fruit unit are not clear, despite the investigations. One puzzling aspect is that the man who uncovered the expense account irregularities involving Colonel Duncan had access to the Swiss account. But he did not tell any officials about the account until very recently.

According to the Pentagon official, the man, Warrant Officer William T. Golden, retired, has told investigators that he was one of the people who signed for the Swiss bank account and that General Secord and Colonel North also had access. Warrant Officer Golden, who was attached to Yellow Fruit, had first raised questions about Colonel Duncan's expenses. Warrant Officer Golden is now an Army civilian working at Fort Huachuca, near Tucson, Ariz. Company Set Up in Virginia

To aid its secret operations, Yellow Fruit set up a company in 1983 in Annandale, Va., called Business Security International and headed by Colonel Duncan. Yellow Fruit was one of several secret Pentagon units involved in ''special operations,'' including intelligence gathering and support for covert activities.

Yellow Fruit was disbanded in December 1983, a year after it was organized, the official said. The only activity in Central America to which it has been publicly linked was the transportation of a satellite dish to an unnamed country, according to an associate of Colonel Duncan.

Although Yellow Fruit is defunct, the Swiss bank account used by Mr. Golden and other unit members still exists,according to the Pentagon official, and the account was not frozen until recently. The official declined to discuss the finances of Yellow Fruit, except to say that most but not all of the money used by the unit had been accounted for. He declined to say whether the money not accounted for could cover the $2.5 million withdrawal cited by CBS News. 'Extraordinary Means'

A Pentagon official said the Army had instituted changes to correct some of the problems uncovered in the investigation of the financing of various covert operations.

Questions have been raised previously about the Army's accountability over covert operations like Yellow Fruit. In a related Army case in 1985, an Army judge, Col. James E. Noble, said, ''The Army chose this extraordinary means to circumvent accountability for money, and it did it for a reason: specifically, to cut off the ability to find the money.''

At that time, Colonel Noble acquitted Master Sgt. Ramon Barron on charges that he had misspent money deriving from an Army covert operation.

Colonel Duncan is serving a 10-year sentence at Fort Leavenworth after conviction in 1986 on various charges in an Army court-martial.

An associate of Colonel Duncan said today that the officer had no knowledge of the Swiss bank account.

Mr. Golden could not be reached for comment. A former Army warrant officer attached to Yellow Fruit, Joel M. Patterson, denied any knowledge of the Swiss account in an interview with CBS News, although the network said Mr. Patterson's name also appeared on the account.

Mr. Patterson could not be reached for comment today.

Note how gold flows into New York, but has difficulty flowing out of US private banking hands as isthe case with the ‘confiscation’ of Germany’s gold. Numerous attempts by Bundesbank to repatriate its gold reserves have been met with a brick wall, and to date, Germany has only recovered a miniscule 5 tonnes directly from the NY Fed – out of the total 674 tonnes (an additional 32 tonnes were recovered via French central bank).

It’s worth pointing out here that when NATO sacked Libya in 2011, one of the first items that came into question was the gold in Libya’s state-run central bank. Prior to the NATO takeover of that country, Libya had one of the highest per capita gold reserves in the world, alongside Lebanon, giving Libya a distinct advantage should it carry out former Libyan leader Muammar Muhammad al-Gaddafi’s long-term financial transition to a gold-backed Libyan Dinar. As you can imagine, this is no longer the case in Tripoli.

Additionally, like Libya, both Syria and Iran are two of the world’s last remaining nation states who both have state-run central banks and gold reserves which fall outside of the world’s private central banking syndicate.

Needless to say, you can see an obvious pattern emerging here.

The Big Lie + What Happened To Ukraine’s Gold?

The Big Lie is that Central Banks don’t care about gold. Nothing could be further from the truth.  

Ben Bernanke, more than once, claimed that he didn’t understand gold. When Ron Paul asked Bernanke in front of Congress why Central Banks own gold if it’s irrelevant, Bernanke flippantly suggested that it was out of tradition. In both cases Bernanke was lying and he knew it.

In comparison, Greenspan seemed to have some respect for the laws of economics and – at least that I can recall – never would outright state that gold was not an economic factor.   Greenspan lied as much as Bernanke did about everything else but he never committed himself to lie about gold.  Most of you have probably read Greenspan’s 1966 essay, “Gold and Economic Freedom” (linked).  I have read it several times because it explains as well as anything out there why gold works as a currency and why Government-issued fiat currency does not.

What I find amazing about The Big Lie about Central Banks and gold is that if gold really is considered to be irrelevant, the how come Central Banks – especially the Fed – are so secretive about their gold storage and trading activities?  What’s even more amazing is that no one other than Ron Paul and GATA asks them about this. Think about it. GATA spent a lot of money on legal fees attempting to get the Fed to publicly disclose its records related to the Fed’s gold activities. The Fed spent even more money denying GATA’s quest. And how come the Fed won’t submit to a public, independent audit of its gold vaults?

This brings me to the issue of the Ukraine’s gold. According to public records, the Government of Ukraine owns 33 tonnes of gold that was being safekept in Ukraine. Last week a Ukrainian newspaper reported that acting PM Arseny Yatsenyuk ordered the transfer of that gold to the United States. The actual report is here:  LINK. On the assumption that the report is true, and so far I have not seen any commentary or articles suggesting it is not true, the biggest question is, how come the U.S. has absolutely no problem loading up and transporting 33 tonnes of gold from Ukraine to the U.S. but seems to have difficulty loading up and transporting any of Germany’s gold from New York to Berlin? And how come the U.S. and Ukraine seem to care about that gold at all, if indeed gold is irrelevant? It would seem that it would be a lot less expensive  and logistically complicated just to have the U.S. military post a few armed guards around the gold if they’re worried about theft. On the other hand, I’m sure Putin would be happy to buy the gold from Ukraine.

What makes the story even more interesting is that GATA’s Chris Powell has spent considerable time trying to get an answer to the question of whether or not the U.S. has taken custody of Ukraine’s gold. When he queried the NY Fed, they responded with: 

“A spokesman for the New York Fed said simply: “Any inquiry regarding gold accounts should be directed to the account holder. You may want to contact the National Bank of Ukraine to discuss this report” (LINK).  

After trying for two days to get an answer from the U.S. State Department, they finally responded by referring him to the NY Fed (LINK).

The final piece in verifying that the report is true is deflection from Ukraine. Mr. Powell has queried the National Bank of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Embassy in DC, and the Ukrainian mission to the UN in NYC. Crickets. As Chris states the case: 

“The difficulty in getting a straight answer here is pretty good evidence that the Ukrainian gold indeed has been sent to the United States.”

Unfortunately, it is likely that the citizens of Ukraine will end up paying the same price for allowing the U.S. to “safekeep” their sovereign gold. That price is the comforting knowledge that their gold has been delivered safely to vaults in China under U.S./UK bullion bank contractual delivery obligations, where it will be locked away for centuries.

All this skullduggery over a barbarous relic that has been deemed irrelevant by the U.S. Federal Reserve…

Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 - Where the Plane REALLY Went

Those of us paying at the time can remember that the reporting and photo-evidence concerning the circumstances and condition of Asiana Flight 214 last July were as bent as a 9 bob note.

Firstly, the plane crashed for no reason.

Secondly, it caught fire, for no reason.

Thirdly, three Korean passengers (initially reported as two children) died in the incident (for no reason) even though survivors reported that everyone had evacuated safely, and the condition of the aircraft on the Tarmac was ostensibly un-damaged from the outside.

Fourthly, none of the photos or video correlated to one another.

Fifthly, we were told of the fatalities, two children were run over by rescue equipment on the runway, contradicting the story of the fatalities having occurred as a result of the crash (not the fire)

Sixthly, the decidedly Thermite-like spontaneous secondary fire (or "fire") which melted half the plane, effectively destroy the crime scene inside the plane.

Seventhly, watching in real-time there seemed to be a conscious and conspicuous delay in getting the NTSB Investigators across the continent from Washington for hours and hours, almost as though someone was trying to keep them away from the plane and the crash stir for as long as possible - I recall the leader of the NTSB Team gave his first statement to the press in Washinton before embarking on the flight to the West Coast which makes no sense since he woul have absolutely nothing to say and preservation of the crash scene (assuming you actually care about finding out what happened) is of absolute, paramount importance.

Many of us speculated this whole episode was in some sense a cover for a Korean CIA double assassination.

So far, this thesis remains in concert with the best evidence.

Now: is this-

In any way, shape or form comparable to that:

And if it isn't...

And if you were going to consciously destroy a crime scene like this...

You'd have to fake something.

And if you were going to fake something....

You'd need two Boeing 777-ERs.

But you can't lose a Boeing full of iPhones.

So that didn't happen.

You can, however, repaint and renumber a Boeing without too many people noticing, relatively easily.

Spot the difference.

The radar blip was probably a military plane shadowing the filed flight plan before dropping below radar or activating Stealth measures and returning to Diego Garcia.

Just as with the "passengers" on the non-existent 9/11 flights - half of them were under Federal Indictments.

Also, count the windows - specifically to the left of the final "A" in "Asiana":

I think the plan was to nobble the plane's guidance system, make it crash (which is easy), kill everyone aboard to cover an assassination, but it went wrong and the crash was easily survivable by all concerned.

Typically, the intended victim is already dead with a bullet in the skull (or will be, upon survival), so this sent everything seriously tits up and they had to improvise and burn the plan to destroy the crime scene.

Hence the thermite smoke.

Having burnt the plane, they then had to find another plane they could let the investigators play around with, so they could blame the pilots for their instruments going mad and telling them to come in too low.

Which means they now having a missing plane that insurance won't pay out on.

The 777 is entirely fly-by-wire; it's the first major production airliner to have a completely electronic as opposed to a hydraulic flight control system, and there is no manual over-ride of the electronics, since they're not based on direct control inputs.

You could hack into one from anywhere on Earth and pilot it anywhere, without special modifications.

Or tell it that LAX is now 200m below sea-level, which is the Russian method.

The Hanged Man and the Towers

As the Fool leaves the throne of the Goat God, he comes upon a Tower, fantastic, magnificent, and familiar. In fact, The Fool, himself, helped build this Tower back when the most important thing to him was making his mark on the world and proving himself better than other men. Inside the Tower, at the top, arrogant men still live, convinced of their rightness.

Seeing the Tower again, the Fool feels as if lightning has just flashed across his mind; he thought he'd left that old self behind when he started on this spiritual journey. But he realizes now that he hasn't. He's been seeing himself, like the Tower, like the men inside, as alone and singular and superior, when in fact, he is no such thing.

So captured is he by the shock of this insight, that he opens his mouth and releases a SHOUT! And to his astonishment and terror, a bolt of actual lightning slashes down from the heavens striking the Tower and sending its residents leaping out into the waters below.

In a moment, it is over. The Tower is rubble, only rocks remaining. Stunned and shaken to the core, the Fool experiences profound fear and disbelief. But also, a strange clarity of vision, as if his inner eye has finally opened. He tore down his resistance to change and sacrifice (Hanged man), then came to terms with Death (Death); he learned about moderation and synthesis (Temperance) and about power (The Devil). But here and now, he has done what was hardest: he destroyed the lies of his life. What's left are the foundations of truth. On this he can rebuild himself.

Tower Tarot Card Meaning

With Mars as its ruling planet, the Tower is a card about war, a war between the structures of lies and the lightning flash of truth. This is a card about anything we believe to be true, but later learn is false. This realization usually comes as a shock, hence, the violent image. It is, quite simply, that moment in any story where someone finds out a shocking truth, one that shatters their perceptions and makes them reassess their beliefs.

When the Querent gets this card, they can expect to be shaken up, blinded by a revelation. It sometimes takes a very bright flash of light to reveal a truth that was so well hidden. And it sometimes takes an earthquake to bring down beliefs that were so cleverly constructed. What's most important to remember is that the tearing down of this structure, however painful, allows us to find out what is true and reliable. What will stand rather than fall apart.

Thirteen's Observations on the Tower

 

The Tower is one of the clearest cards when it comes to meaning. False structures, false institutions, false beliefs are going to come (or have already come) tumbling down, suddenly, violently and all at once. This sort of prediction can scare anyone, especially as the one you're reading for likely does not know that something is false. Not yet. To the contrary, they probably believe that their lover is being faithful, that their religious beliefs are true and right, that there are no problems in their family structure, that everything is fine at work...oh, and that they're fine. Just fine, really.

Alas, they're about to get a very rude awakening. Shaken up, torn down, blown asunder. And all a reader can really do to soften the blow is assure the querent that it is for the best. Nothing built on a lie, on falsehoods, can remain standing for long. Better for it to come down so that it can be rebuilt on truth-or not rebuilt at all, if that's what seems best. This rude awakening is not going to be pleasant or painless or easy, but it will be for the best in the end.

"An editorial in "Zig Zag," Santiago, Chile, January 16, 1948, STATES that on April 30th, 1945, Flight Captain Peter Baumgart took Adolf Hitler, his wife Eva Braun, as well as a few loyal friends by plane from Tempelhof Airport to Tondern in Denmark [still German controlled]. From Tondern, they took another plane to Kristiansund in Norway [also German controlled]. From there they joined a SUBMARINE convoy. ["U.F.O. Letzte Geheimwaffe des III Reiches," Mattern, pp. 50-51.] 

The Jewish writer Michael Bar-Zohar in "The Avengers," p. 99, said: "In 1943 Admiral Doenitz had declared: 'The German U-boat fleet is proud to have made an earthly paradise, an impregnable fortress for the Fuhrer, somewhere in the world.' He did not say in what part of the world it existed, but fairly obviously it was in South America." 

The German writer Mattern said that Admiral Doenitz told a graduating class of naval cadets in Kiel in 1944: "The German Navy has still a great role to play in the future. The German Navy knows all hiding places for the Navy to take the Fuhrer to, should the need arise. There he can prepare his last measures in complete quiet."

U-977 was launched in 1943. She was used in training and made no war patrols during her first two years of service. 

On 2 May 1945 she was sent on her first war patrol, sailing from Kristiansand, Norway, under the command of Oberleutnant Heinz Schäffer (1921–1979). Schäffer's orders were to enter the British port of Southampton and sink any shipping he found there. This would have been a very dangerous assignment for a Type VII boat. When Admiral Dönitz ordered all attack submarines to stand down on 5 May 1945, U-977 was outbound north of Scotland.

Oberleutnant Schäffer decided to sail to Argentina instead. During later interrogation, Schäffer said that his main reason for this was German propaganda broadcast by Goebbels, which claimed that the Allies' Morgenthau Plan would turn Germany into a "goat pasture” and that all German men were to be "enslaved and sterilized". Other factors were the poor conditions and long delay in being repatriated suffered by German POWs at the end of World War I (see Forced labor of Germans after World War II), and the hope of better living conditions in Argentina, which had a large German community.

Schäffer offered the married crewmen the choice to go ashore in Europe. 16 men opted to so, and were landed from dinghies on Holsenöy Island near Bergen on 10 May.

U-977 then sailed to Argentina. Schäffer's version of the voyage states that from 10 May to 14 July 1945 inclusive she made a continuous submerged Schnorchel passage, "at 66 days the second longest in the war (after U-978's 68 days)". A conflicting account from the U.S. Navy (USN) report of 19 September 1945[1] contradicts Schäffer's version.

The USN Report on the U-977 crew interrogations was compiled within a month of the boat's surrender; it makes no mention of any 66-day voyage always submerged, an interesting omission since the details of the voyage must have been still fresh in the minds of the German crew. They told the American interrogators that U-977 "made for the Iceland Passage on course 300º (that is, a little North by West) diving once on sighting a plane and once on sighting a ship (this means she was surfaced at the time): "she was also D/F'd many times late in May".

According to the USN report the submarine stopped in the Cape Verde Islands for a short break en route, then completed the trip traveling on the surface using one engine. Crossing the equator on 23 July, she arrived in Mar del Plata, Argentina on 17 August after 99 days at sea from Bergen and a voyage of 7,644 nmi (14,157 km; 8,797 mi).

In general, historians have tended to discount the USN report and accepted Schäffer's report as the more accurate version.[citation needed] The Schäffer map provides only three dates: 8 May "End of the war", 24 July 1945 "crossed Equator", and 17 August 1945 "arrived at Mar del Plata".

Schäffer maintained that he crossed the Equator on 23 or 24 July 1945, on this date both the US Navy and Schäffer agree. Comparing the USN report with Schäffer's account, the impression is of two separate voyages from Norway meeting up at the Equator on 23 July 1945.

After arriving at Mar del Plata on 17 August 1945, U-977 was surrendered to the Argentine Navy. She was later towed to Boston and given to the U.S. Navy on 13 November 1945. On 13 November 1946, she was sunk off Cape Cod by USS Atule during torpedo trials. The crew was transferred into U.S. jurisdiction by presidential decree on 22 August 1945 and flown out for interrogation in the United States.

Schäffer later wrote a book: U-977 – 66 Tage unter Wasser ("U-977 – 66 Days Under Water"), the first postwar memoir by a former U-boat officer. It was published in 1952, and was translated into English under the title U-boat 977.

I remember hearing, in the 1950s, rumors that Hitler had escaped to a secret Nazi base at the South Pole. In 1952, Dwight D. Eisenhower said: "We have been unable to unearth one bit of tangible evidence of Hitler's death. Many people believe that Hitler escaped from Berlin." When President Truman asked Joseph Stalin at the Potsdam conference in 1945 whether or not Hitler was dead, Stalin replied bluntly, 'No.'

Stalin's top army officer, Marshall Gregory Zhukov, whose troops were the ones to occupy Berlin, flatly stated after a long thorough investigation in 1945: "We have found no corpse that could be Hitler's." The chief of the U.S. trial counsel at Nuremberg, Thomas J. Dodd, said: "No one can say he is dead." 
Major General Floyd Parks, who was commanding general of the U.S. sector in Berlin, stated for publication that he had been present when Marshall Zhukov described his entrance to Berlin, and Zhukov stated he believed Hitler might have escaped.

Lt. Gen. Bedell Smith, Chief of Staff to Gen. Eisenhower in the European invasion and later Director of the CIA, stated publicly on Oct. 12, 1945, "No human being can say conclusively that Hitler is dead." Col. W.J. Heimlich, former Chief, United States Intelligence, at Berlin, stated for publication that he was in charge of determining what had happened to Hitler and after a thorough investigation his report was: "There was no evidence beyond that of HEARSAY to support the THEORY of Hitler's suicide." He also stated, "On the basis of present evidence, no insurance company in America would pay a claim on Adolph Hitler."

Nuremberg judge Michael Mussmanno said in his book "Ten Days to Die," "Russia must accept much of the blame [to the extent that it still exists] that Hitler did not die in May 1945." However, Mussmanno STATED that he interviewed Hitler's personal waiter, his valet, his chauffeur, his two secretaries, pilots, top generals, etc., and they all 'agreed' perfectly that Hitler committed suicide. He said they could not have gotten together afterward and made up a story that agreed in perfect detail without one flaw anywhere, so they must be telling the truth and he was absolutely convinced that Hitler committed suicide.

The story at first sounds convincing, until you realized that they could have memorized a story BEFOREHAND and these were all people who almost WORSHIPPED Hitler. Do witnesses EVER agree "perfectly" in detail in real life? 

Former Secretary of State Jimmy Byrnes in his book "Frankly Speaking" [as quoted in the April 1948 "The Cross and The Flag"]: "While in Potsdam at the Conference of the Big Four, Stalin left his chair, came over and clinked his liquor glass with mine in a very friendly manner. I said to him: 'Marshal Stalin, what is your theory about the death of Hitler?' Stalin replied: "He is not dead. He escaped either to Spain or Argentina.'"

 I still have the September, 1948, issue of a magazine called "The Plain Truth" with the headline article: "IS HITLER ALIVE, OR DEAD?," subtitled: "Here is summarized the conclusions of an exhaustive three-year investigation -- together with reasons for believing Hitler may be alive and secretly planning the biggest hoax of all history." 

Another article in November, 1949, says "The Nazis went underground, May 16, 1943!" and details a meeting at the residence of Krupp von Bohlen-Halbach, the head of I.G. FARBEN, etc., at which they planned "FOR WORLD WAR III." Another article in August, 1952, entitled "HITLER DID NOT DIE," subtitled "Adolph Hitler's fake suicide in his Berlin Bunker now is exposed as History's greatest hoax! Positive evidence comes to light that Hitler did not die -- here's new evidence that Hitler is alive, directing [the] Nazi underground, today!" 

The June, 1952, issue of "The Plain Truth" is headlined: "HITLER 'May Be Alive!'" The article states: "Now, NEW FACTS, or purported facts, leak out. It's reported now that in 1940 the Nazis started to amass tractors, planes, sledges, gliders, and all sorts of machinery and materials IN THE SOUTH POLAR REGIONS -- that for the next 4 years Nazi technicians built, on an almost unknown CONTINENT, Antarctica, the Fuhrer's SHANGRILA -- a new Berchtesgaden." The report says they scooped out an entire mountain, built a new refuge completely camouflaged -- a magic mountain hide-a-way. The recently discovered continent is larger than Europe -- 5,600 miles from Africa, 1,900 miles from the southern tip of South America, 4,800 miles from Australia.

It is NOT a mere ice-covered surface, but a real continent, with plains, valleys, mountain peaks up to 15,000 feet. The temperature in the interior is around zero (?) in the summer, and never drops below 20 or 30 degrees below in the winter. In other words, it is not as cold as in parts of North Dakota or Canada." (especially underground, where the natural temperature would be in the 50's, even below snow and ice. - Branton) "Bonjour" magazine, the "Police Gazette," and the Paris newspaper "Le Monde" all had articles about Hitler's South Pole hideaway. 

Admiral Doenitz, in 1943, stated, "The German submarine fleet has even now established an earthly paradise, an impregnable fortress, for the Fuhrer, in whatever part of the world." Although he did not specify where the exact location was, "Bonjour" pointed out that in 1940 Nazi engineers had begun construction of buildings that were to withstand temperatures to 60 degrees below zero. There have been strong rumors, from the end of the War, that Hitler escaped to the South Pole. 

Yet, most people simply REFUSE to believe the evidence, the idea that Hitler survived the war is just unacceptable! It is too upsetting to too many people! There is plenty of PROOF that the Americans and Russians LIED about what happened to Hitler, and there are strong rumors that he escaped to Antarctica. There is ample proof that a major group of Nazis escaped to Argentina. What do YOU think? 

Why did Admiral Byrd lead an "invasion to Antarctica," and why the extreme secrecy about the whole situation? In 1981, Donald McKale wrote "Hitler: The Survival Myth" to try to lay to rest the questions about what happened to Hitler. The flyleaf says: "In this book a distinguished historian examines the postwar world's most absorbing and persistent mystery, revealing why it has endured and where the mystery leads" [emphasis mine]. The back flyleaf says "Absolute certainty about what happened still eludes us today."

Just recently on TV there are STILL programs telling "at last, the final, once and for all, this is the real story" about what happened to Hitler, yet they all do not really answer the question. A recent TV program, called "What Really Happened to Adolph Hitler," after investigating numerous stories, ends by saying that, in spite of Glasnost and the new freedom of access to Russian files, the files on Hitler are still some of the most highly classified items of the Soviets. 

The "Diario Illustrado" of Santiago, Chile, January 18, 1948 issue, said: "On 30th of April, 1945, Berlin was in dissolution but little of that dissolution was evident at Templehof Airfield. At 4:15 p.m. a JU52 landed and S.S. troops directly from Rechlin for the defense of Berlin disembarked, all of them young, not older than 18 years. 

"The gunner in the particular plane was an engineer by the name of B... whom I had known for a number of years and for whom I had endeavored to get exemption from military service. He sought to tank up and leave Berlin as quickly as possible. During this re-fueling interval Mr. B... was suddenly elbowed in the ribs by his radio operator with a nod to look in a certain direction. "At about 100-120 meters he saw a sleek Messerschmitt Jet Model 332 [an editorial comment says this should be an ARADO 234]. 

Mr. B.. and the radio operator saw, and WITHOUT ANY DOUBT WHATSOEVER, standing in front of the jet, their Commander in Chief, Adolf Hitler, dressed in field-grey uniform and gesticulating animatedly with some Party functionaries, who were obviously seeing him off. 

"For about ten minutes whilst their plane was being refueled the two men observed this scene and around 4:30 p.m. they took to the air again. They were extremely astonished to hear during the midnight military news bulletin, some seven and a half hours later, that Hitler had committed suicide." 
On a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation program called "As It Happens," September 17th, 1974 at 7:15 p.m., a Prof. Dr. Ryder Saguenay, oral surgeon from the Dental Faculty of the University of California at Los Angeles, said that Hitler had ordered a special plane to leave from Berlin with all medical and dental records, especially X-rays, of all top Nazis for an unknown destination. 

He said that the dental records used to identify Hitler's body were drawn from MEMORY by a dental assistant, WHO disappeared and was never found.

An editorial in "Zig Zag," Santiago, Chile, January 16, 1948, STATES that on April 30th, 1945, Flight Captain Peter Baumgart took Adolf Hitler, his wife Eva Braun, as well as a few loyal friends by plane from Tempelhof Airport to Tondern in Denmark [still German controlled]. From Tondern, they took another plane to Kristiansund in Norway [also German controlled]. From there they joined a SUBMARINE convoy. ["U.F.O. Letzte Geheimwaffe des III Reiches," Mattern, pp. 50-51.] 

The Jewish writer Michael Bar-Zohar in "The Avengers," p. 99, said: "In 1943 Admiral Doenitz had declared: 'The German U-boat fleet is proud to have made an earthly paradise, an impregnable fortress for the Fuhrer, somewhere in the world.' He did not say in what part of the world it existed, but fairly obviously it was in South America." The German writer Mattern said that Admiral Doenitz told a graduating class of naval cadets in Kiel in 1944: "The German Navy has still a great role to play in the future. The German Navy knows all hiding places for the Navy to take the Fuhrer to, should the need arise. There he can prepare his last measures in complete quiet."
